Another project in the works!
I know that most of you have been following the improvements we have been making to Turtle Run Golf Club and Snapper’s Bar and Grill over the past couple of weeks. Well, we are adding another one to the list.
In the past few years, there has been a dramatic change in the landscape to the left side of #12. The cart path has been steadily eroding to a point it has not been usable and last year we saw the removal of the two trees that have affected tee shots for years.
Over the past couple of days, we have decided to do something about that. With the help of Sean, Gerardo, Bill, Fred Pancoast, and Myself, we have decided to fill in the cart path on the left side of #12. Once we get the dirt worked the way we would like and sloped correctly, to divert the water that used to flow down the old cart path, we will be seeding this area to hopefully correct the problem for good. As of now there will not be a cart path in its place as we let the area heal and get ready for play.
I am sure most of you agree that this area has been an eye-sore for a few years and we are so happy for you to be able to play this hole with only the beautiful view in mind. It is one of the best areas of the golf course and will be once again.
I hope you all enjoy the pictures of our progress (scroll down on the page) and we cannot wait for you to see the finished project in the coming weeks.
Stay Safe!!
